Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire

Jack Daniel’s is sick and tired of standing by idly while Fireball “whisky” asserts its dominance on the bar scene. Fireball has quickly become the go-to shot choice for twenty somethings everywhere, andJack Daniel’s Tennesse Fire looks to change all that.

Now before we go any further, let’s clarify that neither of these are technically whiskey (Fireball or Jack Fire). There are a number of requirements that must be met for a spirit to be legally classified as American whiskey, one of which is being bottle at no less than 80-proof (40% ABV). Regardless of its official classification, the Fireball craze has reached epic proportions as of late, and Jack’s concoction looks to take things to a whole new level. Made from a blend of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Whiskey and a proprietary red hot cinnamon liqueur, we imagine Fire will share a similar flavor palette to Fireball. Jack Fire will be launching in test markets (Oregon, Pennsylvania and Tennessee), and will be bottled at 70-proof. It will sell at the same price point as their Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey – roughly $20. [Purchase]
