Commercially-available canned cocktails have been in existence since the late 19th century, with the basic concept aiming to add convenience and mobility to the mixed drink experience. And legendary Tennessee distillery Jack Daniel’s is now setting aside its regular glass-bottled booze in favor of cans containing ready-made versions of three of the most commonly consumed Jack Daniel’s whiskey-based mix drinks.
The first of the Tennessee whiskey company’s new canned cocktails is the Whiskey & Cola: a canned, take-anywhere version of the classic Jack and Coke. Next, there’s the Whiskey, Honey, & Lemonade blend, which is made using the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Whiskey and, like the Whiskey & Cola, clocks in at 7.0% ABV. The last of the new trio is the Jack & Seltzer, a minimalist’s mix drink with 5.0% ABV, zero carbs, and only 97 calories. Available just in time for summer, Jack Daniel’s spirit-based cocktails are sold individually or in packs of four, with an MSRP of $4 for the former and $13 for the latter. All three canned mix drinks are available now, with more information available on the Jack Daniel’s website, linked below.
