Jabra Elite Sport Plus Wireless Earbuds
Looking to stay a step ahead of their competition, Jabra – a company that prides themselves in being “pioneers in sound” – have released what they are calling the world’s “most technically advanced true wireless sport earbuds.” And while that may sound like an overly bombastic claim, their specifications are intriguing enough that this product should be given much more than a passing glance. Because, if their claim can be substantiated, these earbuds are modern marvels of technology.
According to Jabra, these earbuds offer true wireless freedom – meaning that each earbud operates on its own without a cord joining the two, unlike other “wireless” earbuds. And they last up to 3 hours on a single charge and come with a charging case that offers up another 6 hours of battery life. Jabra worked with a company called ReSound, who develops medical-grade audio equipment for things like hearing aids, to ensure quality in the tech, comfort, and audio clarity of these earbuds. They’ll also come with an included app – with both Android and iOS support – that can monitor the user’s heart rate, offer real-time audio coaching; and they feature water/sweat-proofing up to a rating of IP67 (with a 3-year warranty against damage). When they hit the market in late September, they’ll be available for $250.
