J. Crew is an undeniable leader in affordable, minimalist menswear — transcending the dimensions of household attire and creating a modernized, urban-oriented brand that has continued to shape the way men dress. Now, they’ve teamed up with another men’s style icon, Barbour, to unleash a dramatic redesign of their classic Barn Jacket.

The J. Crew Barn Jacket was originally introduced to the masses in 1983 and featured a classic design that lent itself to that of a chore coat, utilizing a rugged exterior with a foldable collar and heavy-duty materials. The newest collaboration recalls the old piece from the archives of J. Crew’s most iconic designs, and ups the ante with a new 4-ounce waxed cotton and tartan lining. The weather-resistant outerwear cuts almost 30% of the weight of the original, providing a perfect light-weight garment that will age into a character-embued style piece for any guy. The barn jacket will be available soon for $450.

Purchase: $450
