Teaming up with everyone from Vans to Timex to New Balance, J.Crew is no stranger to collaborations. The New York-based specialty retailer now taps legendary department store Liberty London for the release of its first-ever Home Collection. The iconic UK brand has made a name for itself over its nearly 150-year existence for high-end textiles, especially those of the floral variety.
Just in time for spring and summer, J.Crew and Liberty London’s capsule features several items across bedding and table linens, each available in one of four vintage-inspired patterns. The Club Nouveau motif is a take on the Art Nouveau movement popular during the turn of the 20th century. Here, the pattern is given a twist with subtle golf-inspired details, such as golf balls and golf clubs hidden amongst the floral arrangements. The Georgia Duke fabric contains a rearranged paisley teardrop design with deeper turquoise and salmon hues coming together to establish a more Gulf Coast aesthetic. The more aggressively floral Garden of Life and Meadow Song prints round out the pattern options.
On the bedding side, the 200-thread count sheets and duvets come in twin XL, full, queen, and king sizes, with pillowcases and pillow shams as well. There are also sleep masks and crib covers available. For tableware, the four patterns also adorn tablecloths, placemats, and cloth napkins. All of the fabrics are made from cotton.
Around since the 1940s, J.Crew has now picked the ultimate partner for entering into the home market. Liberty London began selling fabrics in 1875, and has since become widely recognized for its incredibly complex patterns and subtle motifs. Featuring these limited-edition fabrics, the new Home Collection is available to order now on J.Crew’s online store, with shipments expected to begin after May 15.
