IWC Pilot’s Double Chronograph Top Gun Ceratanium Watch

Luxury watch manufacturer IWC will revive its famed pilot’s watch for 2019 just in time for the premiere of Top Gun: Maverick where Tom Cruise will supposedly do his own jet fighter stunts. IWC will be releasing the Double Chronograph Top Gun Ceratanium Watch, reflecting the tough-as-nails Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor Program of the U.S. Navy.

The 44mm all-black watch has a 16.88mm case made from a proprietary blend of titanium and ceramic. Thanks to the durable composite material, the watch is both scratch-resistant and nearly unbreakable. The timepiece has IWC’s reliable automatic 79230 movement and a rattrapante, which is capable of measuring two separate short time periods. The rugged watch is also up to speed with pilot requirements, as it’s anti-magnetic and pressure-tested for maximum durability. The release date hasn’t been announced yet, but you can expect it to drop sometime before the sequel hits theaters in July.

Purchase: $16,500
