When it comes to exploring everything Iceland has to offer, there’s no better way to hit the open road than inside a Land Rover Defender. ISAK 4×4 Rentals offers just that, an opportunity to tour the Icelandic highlands in a rented Defender.

The Defender was built to conquer rugged terrain, and ISAK lets adventure seekers bring out the best in the iconic 4×4. Each and every Defender has been outfitted with all of the gear needed for the harsh environment including a VHF long range radio to communicate with your caravan of vehicles, GPS navigation, a front bumper built for icy conditions, shovels, ropes, spot lights, and even an engine mounted air compressor to adjust the vehicle’s tire pressures for different terrains. While convoy tours seem like the way to go, there are also individual rentals for those that want to tackle the terrain on their own. Watch the video below. [Via]
