Indian Track Chief by Roland Sands Design

The gearheads at Roland Sands Design have taken a shine to an Indian motorcycle, and their mission was clear: Make it a true racer. This is the Track Chief, and it’s safe to say RSD’s mission has been accomplished.

First the bike went the Jenny Craig route, getting its weight cut in half thanks to a new titanium exhaust, titanium tank, internal twist throttle, and a new wiring system where 90% of the connectors have been subbed out for a thin, purpose-built loom. The front fork received a dampened shock and radial mount brake caliper to “bring things into the MOTOGP age,” as RSD puts it, while Dunlop Elite 3 tires wrap around billet RSD Del Mar wheels and rotors. We’re looking forward to seeing this one on the track for sure.
