Inceptor: Board Game Based On Inception

Back in 2010, when the rest of us were watching Inception, trying to figure out the hidden meanings behind that spinning top, Bruno Gervasi and Reid Cuddy were thinking, “Hey, that’d be a cool piece for a board game!”

And now their creation is here. Inceptor is based on Christopher Nolan’s dreamy and deceit-filled film, and Bruno and Reid say this board game that takes place in the dream world. The playing board represents the inside of a dreamer’s mind, or the Mark, and each player tries to “plant an idea in the Mark’s dream, hoping that when he wakes, he will carry out their chosen task.” If you can make your task seem doable to the Mark, victory can be yours. If not, you can always flip the board over like the environments in the movie. [Kickstarter]
