in-tenta DROP box

For those who love getting outdoors but don’t quite want to sleep on the ground every night, the DROP box from in-tenta is a dream come true.

This project from the Spanish design studio completely eschews all the trappings of a regular hotel; no check-in desk, no continental breakfast, and no silent elevator rides – just a beautiful room set smack dab in the middle of nature. These cabins are designed to be built off-site out of natural materials and ‘dropped’ just about anywhere in the world. Marshes, mountaintops, and lakesides are all venues that these two or four person cabins can reside in. Simple in design, each one of these features a large floor to ceiling glass front, a panoramic shower, and an outdoor terrace for enjoying the open air. The interiors are also something to behold too. Made with a warm, natural wood, they echo the earthy and open tones of just about any surrounding. Prices for these guys are available on request.
