Crystal Ping-Pong Table

Ping-Pong tables are not exactly what comes to mind when pondering high design. The Torino, Italy-based design team Impatia knows as much – which is why they decided to challenge themselves with the Lungolinea crystal Ping-Pong table.

Made of pure crystal glass held together by polished metal components, this indoor table blurs the line between sports equipment, furniture, and art. While we’d likely place this ping-pong setup in the latter category, the team of brothers who designed this – Davide and Gabriele Adriano – claim that it is fully functional and even include four paddles, a net, and a ball. For those that find this particular table not quite high-end enough, a version can be purchased with 24 Karat coated connecting joints and net kit hand-made by an Italian goldsmith. Pure Ping-Pong opulence.
