Category: Tech

IKEA and Sonos have teamed up to produce ingenious products, expertly combining functions of two essential household items. After just announcing their bookshelf speaker, IKEA and Sonos announced another hybrid home essential with the Symfonisk Table Lamp.

The IKEA and Sonos Symfonisk Table Lamp is a desk light and Sonos-powered speaker hybrid, which means you can stream music through it and pair it with other Sonos audio devices. It also works as a standard table lamp with a knob to adjust the brightness level. Two class D digital amplifiers, one mid-woofer, and one tweeter make up the interior of the device. The curvy design cab is controlled via the Sonos app, allowing the home speaker to be integrated into a multi-room audio system. The Symfonisk Table Lamp is expected to be available at the beginning of August at IKEA for $179.

Purchase: $179
