IKEA Teams With ROG On Its First Lineup Of Gaming-Focused Furniture

Most gaming furniture consists of overly-aggressive design language and an abundance of RGB lights, but not gaming furniture from IKEA. The Swedish furniture giant has unveiled its first range of gaming-focused furniture, and it features the same restrained and simple Scandanavian styling that fans of the brand have come to expect.

Spread across six lines and over 30 products, the new IKEA gaming range was developed in conjunction with Asus’ Republic of Gamers hardware brand. The range consists of desks, chairs, storage units, and accessories, with most everything being done in simple black or white. One of the standouts is the UPPSPEL Gaming Desk, which features an electronically-adjustable height and a built-in USB charging port. The MATCHSPEL chair is another winner, with a supportive mesh back and loads of customization — both the headrest and armrests are adjustable. The LÅNESPELARE line is a bit more quirky, with items such as a stainless steel mug and holder combo that clamps to your desk. The IKEA x Republic of Gamers gaming range is available now in China and will roll out worldwide in Oct. 2021.
