For more than 12 years, ICON’s Field Armor Stryker Vest has not only been one of the Portland-based brand’s best-selling products by a substantial margin, but it also stands as one of the all-time most popular pieces of motorcycle gear in modern history. So, needless to say, when ICON recently announced the release of the new and improved Field Armor 3 Collection, we instantly took notice.
Comprised of a newly-designed Field Armor 3 Vest, knee pads, and elbow pads, the three-item collection is constructed around a bio-foam and air-mesh chassis fortified via injection-molded armor plates. The interior side of this moto street armor lineup is outfitted with ICON’s moisture-wicking, anti-microbial HydraDry liner, as well as cutting-edge D3O armor. The vest’s revised lower-profile design also allows it to be worn over or under an existing moto riding jacket. The use of mesh and a myriad of ventilation ports allows for plenty of airflow, while the numerous adjustable Velcro straps enable a tight, precise fit, regardless of body shape. Available now, the ICON Field Armor 3 Collection starts at $95 for the elbow pads, goes up to $110 for the knee pads, and tops out at $195 for the vest.
