Portable coolers aren’t typically something guys spend a ton of time researching. The best cooler is often times the one we find on the way to our hiking destination, but Ice Mule looks to change all that.

The self proclaimed world’s best soft cooler, Ice Mule was a successful Kickstarter project that’s now expanding their offerings on the retail scene. Designed to keep your drinks cold during your outdoor excursions, portability was top priority for these coolers. There are a handful of different sizes, all of which sport the same 1000 denier tarpaulin fabric construction, seams rated to 65 pounds to prevent any leakage, and a padded backstrap system for all day comfort. The double layered shell that houses insulating foam between the layers, creating a well insulated dry bag. This thing also rolls into a rucksack, with the water tight roll top closure and side release buckles keeping all your beverages readily accessible. The system will keep your ice in tact for up to 24 hours, and it even floats. [Purchase]
