Hyundai Rockstar Santa Fe Baja

In a surprise preliminary release by the Korean car manufacturer, Hyundai looks to offer a bit more than expected at this year’s SEMA show. The ride in question? A Santa Fe crossover that’s been given the special treatment by the Rockstar Performance Garage. Who would have thought a Hyundai could look so mean?

Naturally, the build started with the basic 3.3-liter V6 engine before Rockstar outfitted the crossover with an AEM cold air intake, Mishimoto cooling system, and of course a nitrous-oxide cooling system. The ride was also outfitted with 17-inch KMC XD 301 Turbine bead-lock wheels that look great wrapped in a set Mickey Thompson Baja Claw 35-inch off-road tires. And to help the engine out, Rockstar installed a custom Magnaflow exhaust and obviously a winch, Bulldog LED lighting, and a roof rack as well considering where this thing is meant to be driven. We’ll have to wait and see how this one fairs later in the month. Though we’d be happy to give it a test drive ourselves in the meantime.
