If you are of the belief that the hotel industry has grown stale and lacking in innovation, then you’ll love this new modular cabin hotel and retreat concept. Hytte is a system of stylish, furnished, customizable, sustainable cabins that can be delivered to hoteliers and leisure operators, offering flexibility and convenience when setting up a new venture.
Hytte is a joint project between architects Koto Design and hospitality experts/interior designers Aylott + Van Tromp. The concept is made up of luxuriously-appointed cabins designed with a minimalist Nordic aesthetic and adaptable to fit in with their natural surroundings. Buyers have their choice of choosing off-the-shelf cabin models or creating bespoke models, with Hytte’s modular system allowing for high levels of customization. After placing an order, you’ll have your first cabin in about 12 weeks, it’ll be ready for guests within 24 hours, and each subsequent cabin takes just another week to arrive. With many people currently avoiding hotels due to COVID-19 fears, having such convenient modular cabins at their disposal could give the hotel industry the socially-distant accommodations guests are looking for.
