Hyper-Realistic Photos Of Star Wars Toys

Even if the Millennium Falcon were real, and it landed in your backyard, and you had a nice DSLR to capture it with, that picture still wouldn’t beat these amazingly realistic shots by Finnish illustrator and photographer Vesa Lehtimäki. Staging these photos with Star Wars toys (and assumedly doing some editing to them after), the realism achieved here is uncanny.

An array of spaceships, vehicles, and characters from George Lucas’ universe are set in real world settings: the Falcon sitting in a snowy backyard (with a green frisbee); Rebel fighters flying overhead; even the action shot of a Stormtrooper in the snow looks totally legit. Perhaps there’s an opening for Mr. Lehtimäki’s talents with the production of Episode VII?
