In 2018 when Husqvarna released its highly-anticipated Svartpilen and Vitplen lineup, the Swedish firm called on Dutch moto gear brand, REV’IT! to design a range of matching, urban-themed pieces of riding gear to be released in conjunction with the ever-so-stylish Husky street models. After the initial success of their first collaboration, the KTM-owned outfit has once again called on REV’IT! to pen another gear collection for the new year, resulting in Husqvarna’s all-new “Functional Clothing Street 2020 Collection.”
The collection — all of which was made exclusively for Husky by REV’IT! and bares Husqvarna branding — is comprised of four items, the first, and arguably most significant of which is the Pursuit GTX Jacket: an all-year, multi-layer jacket with a removable thermal liner, a myriad of ventilation openings, a GORE-TEX shell, and REV’IT!’s SEEFLEX armor at the shoulders and elbows. Next is the Pursuit Jeans which boast safety stitching, triple seams, a loose, comfortable fit, and REV’IT!’s moisture-wicking COOLMAX lining. The collection also includes a matching set of Pursuit Gloves — with goatskin palms, HydraTex liners, and armored knuckles — and the stylish Pursuit riding boots: a water-resistant classic mock toe style item with a thermoformed heel cup, toe, cap, and ankle cup, plus a reinforced heel, toe, and a gusseted tongue. The entire collection is currently available, starting from $100 for the gloves and goes up to $550 for the jacket.
