Huckberry & Mystery Ranch Team Up for a Limited CORDURA-Crafted Backpack

If you consider yourself an outdoorsman, it’s fair to assume you’ve heard of Mystery Ranch, the Montana-bred brand that’s adept at crafting top-tier bags fit to store all your gear. To no surprise, Huckberry is well aware of this northwestern label, too, and the Austin-based retailer is putting that knowledge to good use in its latest collaboration. Huckberry has teamed up with Mystery Ranch on an exclusive version of the latter’s iconic Urban Assault pack, bolstering the backpack with 1000D CORDURA to make it tougher than ever.

This sturdy new joint effort garners inspiration from Mystery Ranch’s embracement amongst Navy SEALS and U.S. Forest Service Hotshots, resulting in a rugged piece of equipment that’s built to take on anything. Akin to the latter’s oft-carried packs, the exclusive Urban Assault is crafted from 1000D CORDURA nylon, a 2x upgrade over the 500D nylon typically seen in civilian packs, making this the only version of the Urban Assault to boast such a makeup. As far as other new elements go, the collab also features a co-branded military-style velcro patch, which you can swap out or remove entirely.

The Urban Assault takes after military assault rucksacks as it is, serving as a top-notch option thanks to its 3-zip closure, fixed harness frame system, and internal laptop sleeve. Nevertheless, its new bolstered composition makes for a large, 21-liter pack that’s even more perfect for the outdoors (though it still makes for a trendous commuter backpack, like all Urban Assaults). Lastly, the bag is finished off in a stylish, pale green colorway fittingly called “Oregano” that’s exclusive to Huckberry.

If you’ve had you’re eye on an Urban Assault pack for a while but haven’t pulled the trigger yet, this looks like the one to get. The Huckberry x Mystery Ranch Urban Assault 21L pack is available only on Huckberry for $145.

Purchase: $125
