While Apple has long been setting the standard in professional-grade creative work computers, HP is now looking to dethrone the California-based technology juggernaut in the segment via the introduction of a pair of new Zbook notebooks: the Studio; and the Create.
At 15”, the Zbook Studio is an ultra-compact laptop suitable for both gaming and creation while the Zbook Create is being touted as the world’s most powerful mobile workstation (per cubic centimeter). Both models feature HP’s groundbreaking Professional DreamColor display which boasts more than a billion colors and a self-adjusting colorimeter. Sold with the choice of Quadro or GeForce graphics and next-gen Intel Core and Intel Xeon processors, the new Zbooks also include a Bang & Olufsen audio system, vapor cooling chambers, and a lightweight aluminum body that offers five-times the abrasion-resistance of painted carbon fiber and enables these notebooks to meet the MIL-STD 810G standard. The new Zbooks also come with the option of a “Z Command” keyboard, which replicates the functions and shortcuts present on Apple’s keyboard setup. Even with the impressive performance, these notebooks still offer 17.5 hours of battery life, making them more than suitable for all-day use. Both models are slated for a release in June of 2020.
