Wizard 3D’s Riverside HOUSE No. 214 Is An Isolated Cantilevered Woodland Escape
Cantilevered homes have always held mesmerizing sway within the world of architecture. They’re daring, adventurous, and promote the idea of weightlessness, complementing their designer’s spirited engineering. While many have a difficult time setting themselves apart due to their location, design, or general underexposure, Wizard 3D Visualizations’ “HOUSE № 214” has no such issue.
HOUSE № 214 is nestled just below a rugged, boulder-clad outcrop, bridging the gap between its foliage-strewn surroundings and serene riverside atmosphere. As the morning fog clears and chilled dew begins to accumulate on the home’s angular exterior, panoramic views of the waterway become visible, courtesy of the two-story home’s open patio areas. An elongated lower platform reaches out to the water’s edge, overlooking a small dock area that can be reached via its dimly-lit walkway. After spending the afternoon atop the dwelling’s multitudinous external furnishings, denizens can head inside for a relaxing night among marble, metal, and leather, courtesy of HOUSE № 214’s modern design philosophy.
