Since the brand’s inception in 2011, SUPER73 has become one of the most eminent names in the lightweight electric-bike space. In addition to a trio of model series, the Southern California company has also joined forces with other noteworthy outfits — such as Roland Sands Design — to deliver limited-edition collaborations, the latest of which sees SUPER73 link up with Hot Wheels to deploy an ultra-limited run of Hot Wheels Edition RX bikes.
This limited edition model maintains the regular RX Series’ aircraft-grade 6065/7071 aluminum alloy frame, 960 watt-hour battery, and 2,000W brushless DC hub-mounted motor. Elements that are unique to the Hot Wheels Edition include a custom embroidered Saddleman seat and handlebar pad, ODI Lock-on grips, over-sized Crankbrothers pedals, a 600-lumen Roxim Z4E Elite LED headlight set behind a yellow lens, and a bespoke Hot Wheels x SUPER73 black livery with fluorescent orange and blue accents. The Hot Wheels Edition RX also sports internally routed cables, a black chain, blacked-out battery tank pads and steel side covers, quad-piston forged aluminum calipers, bronze wheels shod in 20” BDGR tires, an inverted coil-spring fork with air assist, and a rear piggyback Coilover mono-shock. Limited to 24 units in total, the Hot Wheels x SUPER73-RX Limited Edition is available for order now, with pricing set at $5,000. Each unit also comes with a matching Hot Wheels x SUPER73 diecast Ford Bronco R adventure truck.
