Motoism Turns The Honda NX650 Into A Road-Focused Street Scrambler Moto

With 10” of ground clearance, 9” of suspension travel, a punchy bulletproof 45hp thumper, and a sub-360lb weight, it’s frankly unsurprising that Honda’s NX650 has become one of the most popular platforms for off-road-focused one-off builds. And while the Dominator is usually utilized for scrambler-style projects, Germany’s Motoism recently decided to mix things up and try their luck at a street-oriented Dommie that modernizes Big Red’s popular dual-sport.

Described by the Berlin-based shop as “Our first choice for stealing the Mona Lisa,” the NX650 has been stripped of its ADV-style fairing, tail, and subframe. The stock tank remains in play, though it’s been joined by a new bespoke headlight nacelle, a short tail cowl, and a ribbed leather saddle that retains the profile of the brightly-colored stock seat. The NX’s original off-road-ready 21” front spoked hoop has also been swapped out for a more street-focused 19” unit before both were shod in knobby Continental TKC80 moto tires. Christened the “DOMINATORR,” the Honda also gets braced LSL bars and grips, an MX-style muffler, and a matte black and white livery with custom Motoism logos and bespoke “DOMINATORR” branding.
