Honda CB450 by CROIG

Any fan of motorcycle Instagram accounts has probably heard of Cafe Racers of Instagram, a leader in the world of curated pics and short flicks that feature some of the best builds around. Well, it’s apparent these guys are more than just fans with the release of their second custom bike from their workshop in Minneapolis. It’s a mean-looking custom CB450, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t impressed.

What’s interesting is that this bike isn’t even a cafe racer, strange for a couple of guys who obsess over these builds day in and day out. Instead, the CB450 was stripped down to the basics, functioning now as on/off-road machine with some pared-down bodywork. It runs off a Honda straight twin engine that was salvaged and restored, a CR250 suspension and swingarm, 17-inch supermoto wheels thanks to the good people over at Warp 9 Racing wrapped within Metzeler Karoo 3 tires, a full-on Motogadget hook-up, and a PIAA cube headlight for good measure. Off-roading has got to be a good time as well, thanks in part to the rebuilt motor and up to 12-inches of suspension travel in the front and back. These guys are certainly on to something great, and we can’t wait to see what comes next. [H/T: BikeExif]
