Despite its militaristic and utilitarian roots, the Mercedes G-Wagen has evolved into a bonafide automotive status symbol, prompting outfits like BRABUS and Mansory to take the German SUV’s exclusive nature and run with it, hugely bolstering the model’s already ample performance and luxury. Even with the beyond-impressive array of existing modified G-Wagens, Donzdorf-based luxury tuning outfit, HOFELE has set out to deliver the ultimate iteration of the G-Wagen with what’s appropriately been dubbed the “Ultimate HG.”
Engineered to be a more plush alternative to regular limos, the Ultimate HG features an interior made from the world’s finest Nappa leather and Alcantara, including a back seat row with VIP chairs, rear suicide doors, and full-length electrically-deployable side-steps. Outside, the vehicle has been bestowed with a newly designed front grille, headlight surrounds, carbon wheel arches, a custom front bumper, and a roof-mounted light bar. Riding on intricate 23” HOFELE Turbine forged alloy wheels, the Ultimate HG is adorned in a bespoke two-tone paint finish created by combining Range Rover’s Carpathian Grey over Rolls Royce’s Crystal Black.
