A Father & Son Team Is Behind Hodson’s Capable One-Off Custom Trucks

There are loads of custom truck builders out there who do great work, but few have as compelling a story as the father and son team at the heart of Las Vegas-based Hodson Motors.

Derrick Hodson began collecting classic trucks in 2015 and soon turned to his son Riley for help in turning them into one-of-a-kind creations. Their symbiotic relationship has spawned one of the world’s largest and most diverse collections of classic crew cabs in the world, while also spinning off down several other business avenues. The pair do custom truck builds, and there’s almost nothing they won’t make — see the 1955 Dodge monster truck/tow truck mashup “Frankenmater” on their site for proof. They also occasionally sell trucks, and they sell loads of merchandise like apparel, knives, and auto parts. But what they’re best known for are their giveaways. Yes, this father and son actually give away one of their gorgeous truck builds to a randomly selected regular Joe pretty regularly. All you have to do to enter is buy something from their site, with every $5 spent earning you one entry to win. Head on over to the Hodson Motors website to learn more and to view their knockout collection of custom-built classic trucks.
