High Speed Ballistics: Insane Photos Of Bullets Being Fired

Jan 25, 2019

Even if you were an expert handler of your remote control and managed to hit the pause button in time to see all the key shots of the gunshots in say, Inception, you’d still come nowhere close to the amazing visuals that Finnish photographer Herra Kuulapaa has captured with these pictures of bullets being fired from guns. There’s so much to look at in his High Speed Ballistics: the fiery explosions; the bullets in midair; the gunpowder sprays.

Herra says his photos emphasize the importance of gun safety, showing the true power of a single shot. Many of the pictures are said to capture bullets traveling at more than 800 mph. Whoa. We’re guessing he didn’t use a smartphone to take these, and we’re hoping he wore safety goggles. Safety first.
