Herman Miller is one of the most iconic names in American furniture design, famously penning the Eames Lounge Chair and the Aeron ergonomic office chair. And though the Michigan-based outfit is best-known for its mid-century modern wares, it continues producing contemporary furniture today. The latest project from the legendary manufacturer sees Herman Miller join forces with Logitech to deliver a top-shelf gaming chair.
Born out of a collaboration with the Swiss brand’s gaming hardware division, Logitech G, this new offering is modeled after Herman Miller’s original Embody chair model, though it’s undergone numerous tweaks and updates to make it more conducive to gaming applications. The Embody Gaming chair was designed from the ground up to deliver the perfect ergonomics. The chair also boasts cooling foam with copper-infused particles that help to bolster evenly distribute weight and allow for ideal posture while also mitigating heat buildup. Additionally, the two companies will also be releasing the Motia, Ratio, and Nevi gaming desks, which, like the chair, is compatible with the brand’s Ollin Gaming Arm. The $1,495 Herman Miller x Logitech G Embody Gaming Chair is available now, as are the Motia Desk and Ollin Monitor Arm — which are priced at $1,495 and $295 respectively.
