Herman Miller Cosm Office Chair By Studio 7.5

You may not have realized it, but you’ve seen Studio 7.5’s work hundreds, if not thousands of times before in photos, film, and in day-to-day life. The Berlin-based design firm has made popular office essentials like both versions of the Herman Miller Mirra ChairSetu, and now – the Cosm Office Chair.

This, their most recent project, has a light and almost energetic look to it. The dancing frame of the chair holds a single piece of fabric taut across the seat, back, and armrests. But more than just looking like a kind of modern sculpture, this chair is incredibly comfortable to sit in, too. To hear Studio 7.5 tell it, the chair is intended to respond to your body’s movement and posture – providing dynamic support no matter how long you’re sitting in it. Whether you’re looking for something more supportive, a more modern piece of furniture, or a combination of the two – this chair is worth considering. Keep an eye out for the official release late spring early summer.
