Hellwig’s Ford Ranger Is An Overlanding Pickup Ready For Adventure

A great-looking offroad pickup never gets old, and with this year’s SEMA Show wrapping up, we’ve been treated to a handful of genre-bending automotive builds. While it’s hard to pick a favorite, Hellwig’s ‘Attainable Adventure’ vehicle is surely within our top ten, elaborating on Ford’s popular Ranger platform for yet another overland-oriented build.

The Attainable Adventure vehicle calls upon the company’s 2019 Ranger XLT as a firm foundation for this specific build and comes outfitted with a slew of high-end suspension, hauling, and camping equipment. At first glance, you’ll notice the less-than-subtle inclusion of Tepui’s Hybox rooftop tent, as well as a modular Yakima bed rack to keep all of your important off-road equipment as accessible as possible. In an effort to capitalize on overlanding’s inherent nature, Hellwig took the liberty of bolstering the Ranger with a bespoke, bed-mounted kitchen, a GoalZero Yeti 1400 portable power station, and an ARB fridge to keep drivers on the trail for as long as possible. These traits are further complemented thanks to the truck’s enhanced Icon Stage 5 Suspension System, Rigid Industries light bar, and a set of 35-inch Falken Wildpeak M/T tires. We’ve only taken a look at the surface of the Hellwig adventure vehicle, so head over to the company’s website to dive into the company’s robust catalog.
