We’ve known for a while now that Bike Shed was opening a location here in LA. However, due to obvious pandemic-induced delays, the launch has been postponed long after its intended March unveil. Thankfully, it now looks like we’ll finally get to see the space before the end of 2021, so Hedon has decided to celebrate the occasion accordingly.
By way of a Bike Shed helmet collaboration, of course. With three previous joint efforts already under their belts, the brands are back once again with a pair of limited-edition Heroine lids. As the more expensive of the two, the Club Racer Carbon Edition is an ideal option for those who want a premium protective experience. Crafted using a full carbon fiber shell, it features an exposed finish and some glossy gold paint accents. What’s more, each Club Racer model includes a compatible clear shield and comes with some natural calf leather trim. The Classic Club Edition, on the other hand, is a perfect helmet for nailing that retro MX look. Painted in black, white, and gold, and built using a lightweight fiberglass shell, it’s made only better by the vintage-inspired clip-on visor.
Regardless of which helmet you choose, know that you’re getting a host of high-end materials, like brass hardware, Merlin anti-bacterial fabric, and a 360-degree HED Armor lining. Available now, you can buy the Classic Club Edition and the Club Racer Carbon Edition for $750 and $1,050, respectively.
