Hawk House in California
If you’re really looking to be one with the elements, then you might want to take a look at this green-roofed tiny home known as the Hawk House.
Nestled high in the mountains of central California, this tiny little dwelling was both built and designed by architect Alex Wyndham. The home was constructed using timber, and spans just seven by nine feet. Redwood bark skin adds a nice finishing touch to the home’s facade, while the residence’s discreet orientation was designed to not interrupt the flow of the surrounding nature. Hawk House is completely off the grid, and features three foldable walls that open the space up, letting residents fully enjoy those views of the Pacific Ocean. The home doesn’t have a bathroom, but hey, you’ve got plenty of open space around you.
