HAVEN has been at the forefront of militaristic mens style for some time now. As the brand branches into the heritage genre, so to do its products, which have begun to adapt timeless classics, icons, and mainstays into more contemporary pieces. The latest item to undergo the HAVEN transformation is none other than the sunglass, and now, the brand has announced its very first eyewear collection alongside Japan’s The LIGHT Company.

HAVEN and The LIGHT Co. have recently decided to partner on an all-new, two-silhouette eyewear collection that pays homage to some of the genre’s most recognizable icons. The first, known as “Coast,” calls upon a classic wayfarer shape/structure and introduces a plant-based cellulose acetate, hexagon-engraved patterns, and a modern hinge design to keep things comfortable. The second — dubbed the “Shield” — features a more utilitarian, military GI-inspired design, and adopts many of the same accents, acetate traits, and style cues of its sibling. What makes this collection so special, however, is the fact that each and every model is handcrafted by The LIGHT Co.’s talented production team in Sabae, Japan, capitalizing on the company’s illustrious knowledge within the space. Head to HAVEN’s website to pick up your favorite silhouette for $372.
