HAVEN and The LIGHT Co. have recently decided to partner on an all-new, two-silhouette eyewear collection that pays homage to some of the genre’s most recognizable icons. The first, known as “Coast,” calls upon a classic wayfarer shape/structure and introduces a plant-based cellulose acetate, hexagon-engraved patterns, and a modern hinge design to keep things comfortable. The second — dubbed the “Shield” — features a more utilitarian, military GI-inspired design, and adopts many of the same accents, acetate traits, and style cues of its sibling. What makes this collection so special, however, is the fact that each and every model is handcrafted by The LIGHT Co.’s talented production team in Sabae, Japan, capitalizing on the company’s illustrious knowledge within the space.
