Headquartered out of Milan, South Garage doesn’t just customize motorcycles, they craft works of art any avid rider would be hesitant to take on the streets for fear of tarnishing the beautifully finished product. Their newest project – simply called “Opera” – is no different, built from a powerful Harley-Davidson Sportster 883.
They initial features you notice about this bike are the sleek copper and brass accents complementing the handmade leather saddle. Following this observation, your eyes are then drawn to the stretched black fuel tank adding to Opera’s lowered profile. The bike’s brawny stance is the result of an extended swingarm and the shimmering exhaust is put on display, alluding to the age-old organs of a traditional cathedral. But looking through all the shimmer and shine, the bike still manages to hold on to its powerful stance, intimidating those as much as it draws in the eyes of admirers. Needless to say, we can’t wait to see what these Italian builders release next.
