Harley-Davidson Scrambler by VDB Moto
Achieving a unique retro look with the typical Harley isn’t exactly easy, but the crew at VDB Moto have done just that with their 99 Sportster 1200 scrambler redux.
This scrambler conversion has an entirely new front end, using a new set of Showa inverted forks attached to a custom set of aluminum triple trees. The back end sees a lift via a pair of taller Progressive shocks. This scrambler also has a set of 18″ spokes in both the front and the back. The engine is pushed through a Boyle Custom air cleaner to help give the V twin a beastly sound. Even the ignition key has seen a change with this design, as it has been re-positioned by the fuse box with an LED toggle that acts as a kill switch. The original tank was replaced with a big old 77′ Hondamatic tank that was modified to fit the Harley’s frame, and was then painted with a pastel Jaguar green. Top it all off with a handmade brown ribbed leather seat, and you’ve got yourself one unique-looking Harley.
