Happy Meals For Grown Up Movie Lovers
We’re not exactly sure what they put in Happy Meals these days (we’re guessing it’s not Super Size Me DVDs), but we do know that before we even turned 8, we were getting a little tired of the plastic trinkets that McDonald’s was trying to pass off as toys.
That’s why collectively gasped with boyish joy when we saw these imaginary Happy Meals by artist Newt Clement on Pinterest. That gasp was then followed by a sigh, as these aren’t available for purchase, but man, what we wouldn’t give for a Jaws Happy meal box with Bruce the shark flopping all over the Orca. Or what about a box inspired by The Shining, with a psychopathic Jack Nicholson action figure to help you slice open your ketchup packet? From Breaking Bad to Alien to Psycho and more, Clement has sparked our hunger for a Happy Meal like no Mickey D’s commercial ever has before. [Via]
