It’s unfortunate that we live in a time when it’s become so necessary to keep a close watch over your family and property. But the fact remains that home security devices are a good investment – especially cameras for when you can’t be there. Still, most of them are ugly eye-sores. By contrast, however, the new Halo wireless smart security camera is a surveillance device you can be proud to have in your home.

And it’s not just the beautiful exterior of this camera that makes it noteworthy; it’s also loaded with some pretty impressive tech. For instance, it can capture footage in up to 1080p HD, night vision, and can even relay temperature and humidity data. Plus, it’s offers 2-way talk – so you can let any intruder know you’re calling the police or tell an expected guest where they might find a cool beverage to enjoy. Perhaps the coolest feature, however, is that the Halo has a battery life of up to 6-months – which is incredibly impressive for a connected device that captures video. The price has yet to be announced, but you can sign up for updates on the brand’s site.
