Haglofs V Series Raw Anorak Jacket
From proprietary compounds and special fabrics to pure technological innovation, outdoor brands are always searching for a fresh new way to introduce a unique piece of outerwear. Just when we thought we’d seen it all, Swedish label Haglofs unveiled their new V Series jacket — once again, we see an affront to the boundaries of conventional design and materials.
The Raw Anorak Jacket is one of Haglofs’ most futuristic, durable and technical products, utilizing a blend of recycled nylon held together by a special fiber called Vectran to reinforce the jacket’s ripstop construction. This fiber is five times stronger than steel and is utilized in deep-sea cable systems as well as other expeditionary endeavors near the seafloor. The white silhouette contains no dyes — which saves an incredible amount of water during the manufacturing process — and features a parka construction with 3L PROOF technology for full water and wind-proofing. A fluorocarbon-free DWR treated surface also helps the outdoor jacket repel dirt and water, making this one of the most technologically advanced jackets we’ve ever seen.
