After multiple prototypes, Nanjing, China based student Nick Scroggs has perfected his innovative hammock backpack, a product he likes to call the HackedPack.

Looking for ways to enjoy “hammocking” during school breaks and while exploring the great outdoors, Scroggs combined two of our favorite outdoor products to create the HackedPack. The high quality backpack allows him to carry around his books during class with the ability to setup an urban hammock oasis between classes. It’s also perfect for day hikers, giving them the ability to really enjoy the surrounding nature in complete relaxation. The 9 feet by 5 feet hammock supports up to 350 pounds, and has been equipped with several storage pockets along with a main bag for other gear. Support the project now on Kickstarter.
