Blending beautifully with the forest trees in a quaint village in Ukraine called Sosnivka is a retreat where you can shut out the world and focus on the tranquility of nature. Guest House 3.0 by YOD Design Lab is a minimalist retreat in Verholy Relax Park where you can hit the pause button and reflect.
The structures stand on a screw base, elevating them about one meter above the terrain in a serene manner, so there is little interference with the surrounding trees’ root system. On the exterior, the Guest Houses are covered with heat-treated plates constructed from solid alder. Inside, the interior floors are tiled and integrated with water heating, the walls are made from veneered oak plywood, and the terrace and ceilings are both constructed from larch plates. To finish off the hotel rooms, YOD Design Lab utilized natural material and color gamma to complement the surroundings and the simplistic furniture. Escape the static noise of the city in this hotel nestled in nature.
