Guerilla Four XJR 1300 by Rough Crafts
The Yamaha XJR 1300 is one of the most solid bases for a custom bike on the market, as Yamaha pretty much got everything right when they made it. Its size is near perfection, as it isn’t too fat-looking, yet still looks powerful. Now, the team at Rough Crafts has ramped up with brutality factor with a guerilla look.
The front end was beefed up with a set of Yamaha VMAX forks, which are held in place by custom-made triple trees. The wheels also go for the brawn, with 16 x 5.0 Roland Sands Design Boss rims with Coker Beck tires. The rear shocks were removed, coated in black and then re-added. The airbox has been replaced by a set of velocity stacks, and a new ISR braking system has been installed. It’s coated in all black, with no other colors shining through. Some might call it boring, but we’d probably just call it cool.
