The Portland, Oregon based company Grovemade are the masters of the desktop. If you can think of something you’d like to have on your desk at home or at work, not only do they make it, but they do so better than just about anyone out there. It’s natural then that the company has made a foray into audio equipment with their Speaker system.

In collaboration with industrial designer Joey Roth, Grovemade has managed not only to build out a really striking pair of speakers but a great sounding set as well. The entire setup (two speakers coupled with a 2x25W amp) is made out of American walnut or maple woods, each machined to precise measurements to ensure crisp highs, well articulated mids, and a deep and resonant low end. These speakers will look great alongside the rest of your wood products from their shop, or by themselves on a table in your apartment. Prices start at $500. [Purchase]
