Over the last seven years, GREATS has made a name for itself by producing modern sneakers, slippers, and sandals with sleek designs and top-shelf materials. And for the 2021 summer season, the boutique New York-based footwear brand is debuting one of the most hardwearing pairs of slides ever conceived with the Classon Utility Slide.
Constructed atop a grippy and shock-absorbing EVA outsole, the Classon features recycled ballistic nylon single-band strap uppers sourced from discarded fishing nets that are secured via Velcro closures supplemented by side release buckles. Designed in Brooklyn, the Classon was engineered to lend itself to warm weather use, and as such sports a breathable soft lycra liner that’s been paired with a bio-based polyurethane footbed. Offered in black or OD green, these understated slides are also completely devoid of any branding, save for a GREATS logo on the heel of the footbed. Also produced in a sandal version, the GREATS Classon Utility Slide is available now with pricing set at $129.
