Gravity Industries Jet Suit

While fighting crime and keeping the world safe is a noble a cause as any, there’s a much baser reason your average dude would want to become Iron Man: the power of flight. And while we’re still pretty far off from the tech that appears in Marvel’s movies, the folks at Gravity Industries have gotten us a bit closer, thanks to their Jet Suit.

While perhaps not as elegant as Tony Stark’s duds, this wearable does pack a bit of a punch, in that it boasts a whopping 1,050 horsepower – enough to send you sailing above the heads of onlookers. And while lift is plenty desirable, the ability to travel quickly is necessary, too – which this suit can manage at speeds up to 30 mph. Best part is, this isn’t some superhero science fiction device. It’s not even owned by the military and kept out of civilian hands. All you need is $447,000 and it can be yours.
