Gozney Simplifies Wood Fire Cooking With A Restaurant-Quality Outdoor Oven

While the first wood-burning oven was patented back in 16th-century Europe, in its more than 460-years in existence, these ovens have largely been utilized by restaurants and professionals thanks to their unparalleled taste and complexity of use. Illinois-based outfit, Gozney is aiming to change this reality with the introduction of its all-new Dome outdoor oven.

Constructed with a 30mm stone floor, dense cavity insulation, and a ceramic-bonded, weatherproof exterior, the 26″ H x 24.8″ D x 28.8″ W professional-grade outdoor oven’s designed to make wood fire cooking markedly more accessible and convenient, offering restaurant-quality cooking in your backyard. Immensely versatile, this oven can roast, steam, bake, and smoke. Backed by a half-decade warranty, the Dome features a digital LCD display and push-button temperature adjustment supplemented via an adjustable airflow system for maximum control, and an integrated steam injector adds moisture to foods and helps with bread’s rising process. Alongside the regular wood-powered base model, there’s also a multi-fuel version that supplements the wood burning with gas, enabling it to reach temperatures of up to 950°F. Available for preorder now with shipping scheduled to commence in March of 2021, the Gozney Dome starts at $1,299 and goes up to $1,499 for the wood and gas-powered variant.
