GoSun Go Packable Solar Cooker

If you’re not already familiar with them, GoSun makes some pretty stellar camp-friendly grills that use the power of the sun to cook food. Well, now they’ve taken that same idea and pared it down into a much more portable camp grill called the GoSun Go.

Using the same parabolic mirror and double-walled vacuum tube cooking system as their other offerings, the Go is special in that it also features a zippered EVA foam exterior that keeps it protected from bumps, scratches, and dents and, when zipped shut, weighs just 2 pounds and fits into most backpacks. Still, it can cook up to 14 ounces of food at temperatures of up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. And it even has a stand to keep it upright, allowing it to even boil water. This camp cooking game-changer is on Kickstarter now starting at $99.
