The good folks at Google are constantly looking to improve our daily lives. Their latest innovation, the Chromecast, is essentially a $35 wireless streaming rival to the popular Apple TV and Roku devices.

Giving us another reason to cut the cord with traditional cable providers, Google has birthed the Chromecast. The device is extremely easy to use (not to mention affordable), making it a no brainer for anyone out there looking at comparable devices. Setup takes no more than a few minutes. Just connect the dongle to your TV’s HDMI port and to your home Wi-Fi connection, and you’re ready to start wirelessly streaming from any mobile device. The device works with any operating system, and is compatible with a handful services including Netflix, YouTube, and  Google Chrome. It would appear that Google has a hit a home run with this one.
