Goodyear tires has thrown its hat into the world of bicycles with their new Goodyear Premium Bicycle Tires line.
This isn’t Goodyear’s first trip around the block on a bike. The 120-year old Akron, Ohio-based company was making bike tires long before Henry Ford fitted his Model T with Goodyear rubber. As automobiles took off, however, Goodyear focused more on making tires for cars. Now, as the way we get around becomes increasingly diverse, the heritage brand is betting back into the world of spokes and chains. In a partnership with Rubber Kinetics, the storied brand has released a full line of 9 different tires, ranging from those built for road riders, to those intended for bombing down hills, and everything in between.
