Introducing one of the rarest single malt scotch whiskies ever matured. It’s a half-century-old offering from Glenfiddich – distilled and aged for 50 years in oak barrels and drawn from two casks married together by Malt Master Brian Kinsman for three months.
After bottling, each expression is labeled with wax and packed in a hand-stitched leather case that’s both lined with hand-woven silk and decorated with Scottish silver. As for the whisky itself, the nose of each delicate dram offers aromas vibrant with floral notes and a slight smokiness. An initially sweet introduction on the palate comes complete with orange marmalade zest and vanilla followed cleanly then by a series of herbal, floral and smoky finishes.
